Garden of Reverie

Courtyard Installation

Wooden frames, plants, flowers, laundry, easels, sandbox and games of all sorts

Jerusalem—Jul 2018

As part of the "Architecture Is..." exhibition curated by Henry Urbach (former curator of architecture and design at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art) which showcased the works of the 2018 graduating class of the Bezalel Academy's Department of Architecture, a Garden of Reverie was installed.

We transformed the front courtyard of the Academy into a large installation, replete with wooden frames holding plants and flowers, hanging laundry, easels, a sandbox, and games of all sorts. The gesture aimed to be playful and serious, as it foreshadowed the importance of program, scale, and representation to the projects that could be found inside.
