Portable Us Flight
An exploration of present day jet movement
Anywhere, Nowhere, Everywhere
100 pages, 26 x 20 cm
Shaped into an in-flight magazine, the 'Portable Us' publication investigates the evolving relationship of the movement between physical and digital realms. This publication showcases the visuals created and texts written during the course of our final undergraduate thesis project.
The magazine delves into the implications of constant jet movement on our sense of belonging, place, and identity. It unveils various aspects, including "the 9 contemporary travel rituals", a travel diary, essays on movement and its representation, tips on avoiding certain foods while traveling by air, and more.
Furthermore, the magazine chronicles three jet journeys that examine how perpetual motion shapes contemporary architecture and the influence of our dynamic existence.
